PENNY - Frame 07 / Round / Midnight

Small, round, and not asking permission.

A compact retro round in thick acetate, with a keyhole bridge and a metal rivet set into each rim. Four colourways, three of them two-tone, because the arms rarely match the front and that is the point.

Why this one

• Small on purpose. Everything else got bigger. This went the other way.
• The arms do the talking. SCOTCH runs tortoiseshell arms against a plain tan front. MIDNIGHT splits navy over tortoise and keeps the arms navy. You notice it from the side.
• A different lens in every colourway. Flat grey, warm brown, bottle green, and a true top-to-bottom graduated grey. Not one tint recoloured four times.
• Arrives ready. Hard case and cloth in the box.

• NO COMMENT. Gloss black throughout, flat dark grey lens.
• TORTOISE. Mottled tortoiseshell front and arms, warm brown lens.
• SCOTCH. Plain khaki-tan front, tortoiseshell arms, bottle green lens.
• MIDNIGHT. Navy over tortoise front, navy arms, graduated grey lens.
